Are there any help files on configuring BitLord, understanding "health", seeding, etc., and how to optimize downloading/uploading parameters for optimum results? I am continually running into downloads that seem to progress ok, but a little slow, but at around 98% completion decides to just sit there doing nothing.

What does BitLord have to do with IRC anyway? Very Happy

BitLord is going to sentence all of you to Hashfail, if you don't stop talking about him like that. Razz

I would like to dump bitlord but what search engine do I use? When I do a search directly from Utorrent, I get referred to other 3rd party sites that I suspect are rip offs.

Use isoHunt! That's exactly what it's for.

Even Google will do just add the word torrent to your searches, is all

Edit: it's also possible to change the search parameters in uTorrent to get results from isoHunt: http://www.utorrent.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=42613

if this is what you mean

IsoHunt|http://isohunt.com/torrents.php?ext=&op=and&ihq=

put it into utorrent preferences>advanced>UI extras>search engines

but like Viper suggests just use isohunt

I used BitLord for a long time, but uTorrent has a lot more sorting and organization features. And DHT, Peer Exchange, etc.

One thing that BitLord has over uTorrent is that you can copy the infohash of a torrent. I haven't found a way to do this in uTorrent, and have had to copy it character by character if I want to search it.
