yeh i know mate, just couldnt see it, i did say its me. i was overlooking the edit button next to profile output. i could see all the options in the advanced bit but couldnt change them. iv converted a file with all the recomended programmes and so far rer has came out the best albeit with no sound. i will tinker with that. am gona transfer onto the pad tonight and see how they play on that. will post later. thanks for all the help
edit
all the converters given do a great job, and yes they do look rally good on the tab. as suggested i put a avi/xvid/mp3 file straight on and bingo!
this would be brilliant if it didnt crash the player when ff or rw, lots of comments say this but it does not happen if converted. guys thanks a million for the advice, suggestions and patience, very much appreciated. |

yeh i know taz, just find it weird why vids and pics play but songs dont. i think it will work if i transfer the songs through the vtech learning lodge app but everytime i connect the tab too it windows forces close. |

according to
I'm an idiot
it could be down to a licence issue, although why you can manually transfer mp3 to other generic players with no problem is beyond me.
afn, my lodge had the same problem, turned out adobe had made me install the wrong version of flash (I have 64 bit) without me really checking, again that site explains why, very useful |

lol trollster me neither, there is more and more info being uploaded as this pos gains momentum. it IS better if you convert as it causes less problems on the tab but no you dont need to convert
windows was forcing close on the lodge as i had transferred the avi's directly onto sd card. i wiped the card and copied things over through the lodge (uk) and mp3 shows up and it dosnt close on connection of tab. also helps downloading the relevent countries app. U.S.A for american U.K for U.k thought they would at least be the same, i had uk as im here but bought tab from America. iv had both and both are the same other than phonetics but like i say it was avi's crashing it. all is good now other than batteries last about 5 mins! |
