breaking bad best season?

i have done a search and realize there are many threads on breaking bad but i dont think any of them ask the question "which is the best season" and "should it have been left at season 4" i think 4 was the best and possibly should have been left there...time will tell. if this is the wrong place and or this has been asked/answered mods feel free to verbally kick my ass and lock it (my vote is on pacman first)

they are all as brilliant as each other, definately my favourite tv series ever, with prison break a close second.

Season five will be and probably needs to be the last. There are plenty of seasons left that could be written, but in order to answer all the lingering questions but still end on a high, there needs to be just one more season, IMO.

i had an idea you would be the first to post mate. never heard of proson break Laughing

it defo got better with time. at first i thought s4 was dragging but it was the best build up ever....im hoping they dont go flaccid and leave me thinking "should have ended on that high...really really dont want to be disappointed. never felt so passionately towards a tv show

Lol couldnt resist. I didnt get that impression from any episode tbh, the only one i raised an eyebrow at was the one where those two mexican brothers started crawling over the sand??

Im wondering whether Gus' family/associates from Chile will come after Walt now....

not sure where it will go now, yeh i didnt get the sand crawling thing, it never followed it up as far as i can remember...maybe some sort of tradition? perhaps mike will start doing something worthwhile now. team up with jesse maybe or is mike dead Confused

I'll go with season 3.I don't know what happened in season 4 but in the middle of the season everything started to annoy me.Walter's attitude annoyed me,Skyler annoyed me,his son annoyed me,I wanted more of Hank
and 'the I'm better cook' scenario that's why I'm still alive it started to have a lot of flaws,in my opinion.Season finale though was great although I have to admit,I've expected to have left us with more agony for the next season.

Besides my complaints,yes,Breaking Bad is one of the best shows and I'm looking forward for the next season.By the way,it's official,it will be the last season and will consist of 16 episodes.

i read that a while ago but there was talk of it being split into 2. glad its just one. couldnt take the waiting again.

anyone have an idea of when they think the final season will air? only just realized tonight that don eladio was manny from scarface-Steven Bauer. i knew i knew him from somewhere but didnt think it was that

pinkman belongs to the cartel, cuz of his cook for them, gus may have lived.

I'll just add in my quip here - I don't think the best season has been released yet! Personally, just never got into the show at all...didn't catch my attention. I find any time I'm channel surfing and happen upon it now I catch myself saying something along the line of "is that still on?" then watch a few minutes and surf on past.

You need to watch it again and give it more than a few minutes, the show is truly awesome.

Im the same as Dixie sort of, Ive seen a few episodes and it was totally awesome to watch, but it didn't really leave me hanging to see the next episode, dunno why it just didn't.

Shame on yous! It is epic. If there was ever a show to drag or be over hyped its lost. Each to their own though. Like mr gig said give it another go from the start Very Happy

This is one of the most epic TV-series ever created; no doubt about that. Although after first season they started to stretch the story a lot. But it's forgettable and forgivable as they needed a huge character development on the process for a grand showdown. The whole series is highly "debatable" at every scene because the complexity of the characters. Very cleverly made and those who missed it should go back and watch it. How can someone miss the intense badassery war-fest that involves cops, drugs and chemistry with matured combinations of action, emotion and philosophy set in fast paced, adrenaline spurting frames!

I love all four seasons; but my fresh memory says..I'd go with season four..

Hey afn - glad you're hooked up and back with us! Yep, in my opinion it is Epic. An epic bore for me. I don't mean to knock it...I have watched a few episodes, then and now...just to take some sage advice and give it a retry to see. But again, I find myself bored, unbelieving and generally dis interested. Doesn't mean it's bad - just not my thing ya know. So, to be the one who doesn't mind stirring up a hornet's nest and feels that I have an opinion (it's only an opinion) I make it known that I think the show to be rather dull. Now, please understand all, I'm not a big television watcher or a fan of the box. I use my flat screen for playback. If I take interest or watch anything, it all gets old fast. I thought Swamp People looked good. I've been to the swamp, the bayou and thought it would be cool. It was for the first couple of episodes, then became mundane and dull. Same with storage wars and storage hunters - fun at first then big time boring. I watched shows like Big Brother and Lost and some of the others that I can't recall at the moment and gotta say, I was insulted. To believe that people get caught up in this tripe was rather annoying. So, rather than get upset or bugged about watching it I just stopped and now treat it like religion mostly...I don't discuss it. I had an excellent friend at work and before he retired he would tell me about Big Brother and how he found it interesting in the aspects of psychological and sociological events and manipulation and game playing. I tried to watch it with that view in mind but found it too transparent. I'm not saying Breaking Bad fits with this I just find a lot of these to be in the same vein and become redundant. There seems no newness in any of it any more so that's just my thoughts. Scattered as they are...
