Hey Folks, I just wanted to personally apologize for the downtime that we've faced over the last 24 hours. We were supposed to be moving to the new servers today (June 3rd) but our previous hosting provider decided to pull the plug before we could get all the data off the old database machine. We're back now, and working on making some happy happy joy joy around here, so stay tuned, and again, we're sorry for any inconvenience.

We lost about 1 day of data, so apologies to the loss of forum registrations or posts made during that time.

UPDATE 1: Alrightythen, that was a bit difficult... quite a pain in the ass in my book, but then again, such is life, IH and I worked ALL night to get isohunt back floating again... I did a test search and was definately impressed. We haven't done any tuning yet, and a search for "testing" was generated fairly quickly, sounds good to me! Enjoy the site, the new stability (if we lose a server, our new setup should auto-detect this and remove the server from the pool) so as long as our database machine stays up, we'll stay up, yay!

UPDATE 2 (IH): Mail servers weren't working, so no activation emails were sent on new member registrations. I've activated all accounts registered in the last 2 days, so even though you didn't get the activation email, you should be able to login.

Yup, despite the rough move, everything is falling into place now. We frantically setup new infrastructure in the new servers, and all is working better then what I would have hoped. Our new database is a tank, and the web servers are truly clustered with global shared caching. One thing you'll notice is there'll be no more w#.isohunt.com redirections between pages, my previous implementation of a ghetto cluster. Cool

DNS should complete propagating through the internet soon. Enjoy the new snappy site, while we work on new features with our new processing capacity.

If something is not working / page not loading right, please reply below of what you see and on which URL.
