No Random Poll resurgence here
i actually used the forum search feature and purposely revived this thread
you might be asking 'what? are you getting senile or something FLeTcH?'
No, i would rather see a thread be dredged up from a search or Random Poll than see all these same topics asking the same question pop-up over and over again
... when someone actually takes the time to form a proper response - or better yet - search the forum and find a valid thread to respond to

besides, is it really necro if it is still a valid topic && the poster responds to the topic correctly - actually adding to the thread - rather than some inane babbling....
ummm.... inane babbling kinda like i'm doing now, but still valid

If you're confused by eldestFLeTcH's antics this post will help you sort things out. It will give you a new mental map upon which to fix your own position so that you can better tell you a little bit about eldestFLeTcH and his delirious taradiddles. For those of you who like to eat dessert before soup, my conclusion at the end of this letter is going to be that eldestFLeTcH has called people like me morbid cads, loquacious schmoes, and humorless, callow-to-the-core monomaniacs so many times that these accusations no longer have any sting. EldestFLeTcH honestly continues to employ such insults because he's run out of logical arguments. I suppose an alternate explanation is that eldestFLeTcH refers to a variety of things using the word "microcinematographic". Translating this bit of jargon into English isn't easy. Basically, he's saying that he is cunctipotent, which we all know is patently absurd. At any rate, his maudlin preoccupation with revanchism, usually sicklied over with such nonsense words as "sphygmomanometric", would make sense if a person's honor were determined strictly by his or her ability to promote violence in all its forms—physical, sexual, psychological, economical, and social. As that's not the case, we can conclude only that the gloss that his vassals put on his cop-outs unfortunately does little to dole out acerbic criticism of eldestFLeTcH and his phalanx of moonstruck, quixotic habitués. In a nutshell, eldestFLeTcH's hypnopompic insights are often disregarded merely as out-of-touch and are consequently not treated as the serious assaults on liberty and freedom that they indisputably are.

Sometimes necroing (is that a word?) a thread results in spam, but I don't think that you're any less likely to encounter spam in a new thread. Who cares how old a thread is, anyway? Apparently some do, seems to me that those people might be better served by having an 'originally posted' date on the thread title in the forum, so that people who only want to read something new can avoid the older stuff. Orwell, Dickens, Heinlein, all dead guys I like to read, still relevant. New threads shouldn't be spammed - although some have specifically had bad things to say about posting in old threads here, seems to me that most of those complaints are really about spamming. If someone has something to say post away, I say. If you don't, then shut the hell up, regardless of the age of the thread.

It's time to tell the truth about WeirdoBeardo. With this post, I hope to even the score. But first, I would like to make the following introductory remark: As our society continues to unravel, more and more people will be grasping for straws, grasping for something to hold onto, grasping for something that promises to give them the sense of security and certainty that they so desperately need. These are the kinds of people WeirdoBeardo preys upon.

I don't need to tell you that comments like that don't sit well with lackadaisical quiddlers. That should be self-evident. What is less evident is that I am worried about a new physiognomy of servitude, a compliant citizenry relieved of its burdens by a "compassionate" WeirdoBeardo. It's hard to spot the compassion when you notice that WeirdoBeardo criticizes me for commenting on his reinterpretations of historic events. If he wants to play critic, he should possess real and substantial knowledge about whatever it is he's criticizing. He shouldn't simply assume that malign, disagreeable proponents of denominationalism are all inherently good, sensitive, creative, and inoffensive.

Because I unfortunately lack the psychic powers that enable WeirdoBeardo to "know" matters for which there is no reliable evidence, I cannot forecast when he will next try to make my blood curdle. But I can unequivocally say that purists may object to my failure to present specific examples of WeirdoBeardo's improvident strictures. Fortunately, I do have an explanation for this omission. The explanation demands an understanding of how WeirdoBeardo truly believes that you and I are objects for him to use then casually throw away and forget like old newsprint that's performed its duty catching bird droppings. I hope you realize that that's just a dissolute pipe dream from an exploitative pipe and that in the real world, WeirdoBeardo is trying to scrawl pro-demagogism graffiti over everything. His mission? To exhibit cruelty to animals. In the beginning of this post, I promised you details, but now I'm running out of space. So here's one detail to end with: It has been a long-standing observation of mine that WeirdoBeardo's wheelings and dealings remain opaque to many observers who dismiss him on the basis of his doctrinaire squibs and general lunacy.
