Instead of typing the same reply over and over everytime someone asks "How do I burn cue/bin files" I paste this quick guide. Note that a link to Nero is provided. If anyone knows a working Nero link we could replace the one I included and make it a main-stay? Please feel free to expand on this if you wish.

The guide is located at the top of this forum "Sticky: Links - README first".

Simple Guide to Burning .cue/.bin files
===========================

Use Nero- Burning ROM (suggest v.5.5 or higher):
http://isohunt.com/torrents.php?ihq=Nero&ext=&op=and

1. Place a blank CDR in your burner.

2. Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and navigate to CD 1.

3. Right-click the cue file. A pop-up menu will appear. Select open with "Nero - Burning Rom" from the pop-up menu.

4. Nero will open. Close the wizard. Close the burn compiliation window.

5. Click "File" and select Burn Image.

6. A navigation window will open. Navigate to CD 1 > Select the cue file > Open/burn the cue file.

7. Thats it. The burning process will start automaticaly.

Now, if the file is 700 MB, you need a 700 - 800 MB blank CD, and your burner must support over burn. Understand, the cue file contains the instructions for burners to write the CD (kind of), so don't get confused. Just do the steps and take your time.

Note: Some cue/bin compiliations may be larger than 700 MB, however will burn less than 700 MB. Trial and error in this case. Unless the .nfo file contains this information.

Is that better? Let me know ok. Wink

If it hasn't been done yet, this here topic should be "sticky'd" Lord knows how many keyboards I've worn out by typing some of this stuff. Laughing

use deamon tools to open bin/cue files without actually having to burn a CD or DVD.

Might as well add this, I just posted it on another thread:

How to play a movie .cue file from Alcohol 120, in a virtual drive:

Open Alcohol, on the right side of the prog you will see an icon for your virtual drive, right-click, select 'mount', browse to your .cue file, hit Ok and your movie CD will show as being loaded in the drive.

Now go to Media Player Classic, go to File, Open CD-Rom, you will see your movie, click on that, and it will start playing.

But is it possible to burn a cue or bin to a DVD for movies or would you have to convert it and use an app such as DVD Lab?

Nah Alchohol gives you an oprtunity to write to any medium or if that dont work try Ultr-iso and load in deamon then remake then burn. There are allways allternatives. Ultra-iso would be my choice. BlackFx

Hmm best method i can think of myself would b 2 mount the images with something like deamon tools etc, copy all files into a folder onto hard drive -= then burn it onto disc, taking care to name the disc/s appropiatelyl.

This may not work and there could be better ways but hey give it ago, if this isnts clear then provide me with specifics and ill try and help dude!

you are supposed to mount the bin file, the cue file is for if you are going to burn. If you have allready got your app. installed then you might just need a no cd/dvd crack from gamecopyworld.com or gameburnworld.com
