isoHunt Lite test roll out and on rumored keyword filtering

I love the lite version, it's one page short of being totally taken down!

Literally: I had to work to get at the forum, by rigging partial access to the old version of the site, and I cannot get any search results whatever I do. This level of success took an hour, because pages regularly failed to load--something that was an issue before, but at least hitting reload got rewarded within a short period of time with my search results, a torrent's listing, or the torrent itself.

Bye, guys, I'll miss this site, but if all I'll get is the lite version I can't really see the point of sticking around. I hope the lawsuit gets won, I might return then if I hear about it, but until then...I shall not return.

I don't like the changes either, but the old Isohunt is just a proxy away, so it's not really a big deal. If this is the courts wanted, just block US access and save the money.

Yes ultimaprox does work that being said we shouldnt talk bout that as this IH lite thing is to make things "legal" and well that site is indeed questionable at best.

I used Tor to get through. It doesnt work all the time, as it sometimes routes through US servers. but it works enough. The sad thing is, the majority of people that are reading this have already defeated this thing. Even more depressing, its really easy to beat it with just a bit of research. We gotta get this out, the government is wrong on this one. We can't let this die.

The best way to fight this thing is the legal way and thats just what IH is doing. Be patient, if you find a way around it ok. But dont get crazy with letting people know, we dont want IH getting in trouble.

I hear what your saying bro, and your right to be afraid. The good news is, with these methods we have, the US government can literally do no more than they already have. The servers that run this site are in Canada, and if your posting here, it means your using a proxy, which means your coming in from another country. The US government cannot force Isohunt to block access from other countries, and they cannot shut down the site proper as they aren't located in the US. Were safe... for now.

Im not afriad im a DOD employee. Not worried bout me just dont want them checkin out the main page and seeing a shout saying to avoid this legal site.

the form is top notch thats what i was worried about losing took me a few to figure out how to get in might i sagest maybe adding a link on the ih light i think alot of people think its the hole site thay cant access.

hey i just tried ultimaprox and im looking at the same old isohunt searches i know and love. that didnt take long 4 someone to figure out the solution to this terrible mess! thanks!

All you have to do is enter the URL for isohunt and then go. You don't even need to register or sign in. Once you are into isohunt, you are good to go and can continue to go from page to page in the same manner that you always did.

I can't believe that I have my old isohunt back so quickly. Everyone should give it a try!

Well I am going to tell it straight forwarded as it is, if isohunt does not get this problem fixed there going to end up losing a whole lot of supporters
until they do I recommend getting this program and yes it does work
and its legal after all you do have a right to protect your online privacy there is nothing illegal about that.

First, of all, thank you very much to the people that have made this site possible. Smile

You guys are freakin awesome. This site has been a joy to use, the comments help a lot, has huge database, and is organized very well. The things that you needed to do just to keep this site up is understood, and y'all deserve kudos for not giving up on the project and the community. Honestly, anyone using torrents for a while and that works with the computer/internet a little more than "average" user, knows that there are ways of accessing any website through proxy servers or web-based interface pages, that act like a proxy setting without the hassle of having to enter the proxy info in the settings. It's completely understandable why the "Lite" version of the site was made, but I agree with everyone else, it sucks! I don't mean this as any disrespect to the developers of this site, you guys are awesome for keeping it up! Smile

I will keep recommending this site to everyone I know and tell them how to access it through proxy so that they can enjoy the true "ORIGINAL" Isohunt!

LONG LIVE ISOHUNT and torrents and the community that helps keep them alive!

i want the "TOP SEARCHES" Back

i want to be able to comment on torrents!

and since you turned the thing into a pure search engine, take a timp from google put in the "did you mean?" spelling corrector thing

SORT BY SEEDS! the most the least and the best S/P ratio

i dont understand why thes things are illegal

i thought you guys were going to take shit for the torrents you hosted (which was stupid!!)

at least i was able to make a backdoor to the original site
