Another rar password question with a difference!

Hi all, I have spent some time looking through the post's on this forum to see if someone else has had the same problem but it seems i am the only one as usual! Mad

So please don't get the ump with me.
I recently downloaded this torrent; ( http://ca.isohunt.com/torrent_details/379583285/mass+effect+3?tab=summary ) which as you can see it's a big file and if you notice it has the name "Skidrow" which as far as i am concerned is a respected, 100% genuine name (or am i wrong?). Anyway, after carefully reading the install directions i went to unzip the main file to find that i needed to get the password after completing a survey, the usual crap from a passworded file! I thought ok, i'll do it but at the end of the survey i didn't get the password Evil or Very Mad

Now, i know what your thinking, it's another scam to get someone browney points on some site which it probably is but i think that someone else has downloaded the original file, uploaded it and then passworded it for their own gain (NOT skidrow).
I found the file i had downloaded on here and realised that one other person had left a comment and was mad that skidrow had passworded it and that they had done the survey, i think they must have got the password because they didn't say differently.
I have "Private messaged" them but haven't had a reply so here i am Very Happy

I'm sure it must work otherwise there would be many members complaining so if anyone has got the password i would appreciate a "Private message" please and put me out of my misery!

the name might be a trusted name but the fakers can use the same name....
Have you read the how to spot fakes ??
It will be helpful.
Anyways we do not pass on passwords and if a file is passworded you should flag it as such as most are fake.

anyone can create a file with the name skidrow,jaybob,whatever in the title.

skidrow doesn't password his files so it's an obvious fake.

this is an indexing site and that's not an isohunt release.if you check the infohash you see it is at none of the sites you would normally find a legit skidrow release.
